ABOUT OUR DRIFTING CLASSES
Don't miss the chance to experience the world fastest growing motorsport!
Our "Arrive and Drive" style program allows you to book a class with zero experience and get in on of our fully prepared drift cars. All of our drift cars have manual transmissions, so we recommend some experience driving a manual car. If you don't know how to drive a manual, we can teach you in the parking lot before we go on track. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age, and any drivers under 18 will need a parent or guardian with them.
During a typical 3-hour class, the driver or drivers (you can split a 3-hour class with up to 1 driver) will receive at least 1 full hour on track. Sometimes the class can take closer to 4 hours on a busy track day. Between our (4) 15-minute track sessions, we talk about technique and give drivers a ton of great info if they ever want to get into drifting.
You can also bring friends and family members to join for FREE! They won't get to drive, but they can hang out and watch or even take videos while we are on track. Up to 8 friends and family are allowed to join.

OUR INSTRUCTORS:
Ian McDougall -Owner/Lead Instructor

Since 2007 Ian has been fully dedicated to the motorsport of drifting. His passion began as a teenager in high school. He's drifted at tracks all across the United States and has a few podium finishes under his belt. He's been teaching new drivers for over a decade and started the school professionally in 2020.

Nate Teunissen - Instructor

While Nate might be the new guy, he's a fantastic driver and coach. Nate got into drifting through SIM drifting on video games. Once Nate got into an actual drift car, it was all easy from there. He currently builds drift cars at our local drift shop (After Hours Autosports), and he also helps run a drifting team in Formula Drift!

OUR TRACK:

iMi Motorports Complex
Only about 30 minutes north of downtown Denver iMi has one of the best drifting go kart tracks in the country. Their mile long road course features many technical twists and turns and slight elevation changes.
This track helps prepare drivers for using momentum, good line choice and in our opinion is much more fun to learn on than and empty parking lot.
